First step

An introductory consultation is the first step towards your home transformation. Michelle will meet you in your home to conduct a needs assessment and help you to explore the potential of your property. She will assess the interior architecture flow to suit you and your lifestyle.


Michelle will discuss ideas on styling, furniture, furnishings, curtains, colours and layouts. This initial consultation is an outline review and needs assessment overview only. This is to establish summary costings of your intended refurbishment. It is charged per project.

To manage expectations, projects tend to take 4-6 months from initial concept to completion. This allows adequate time for the design process, to source appropriate materials and for all custom furnishings to be made.

Interior Designer Service

At Cush Interiors, we avoid trends as they quickly become dated. Instead we focus on classic decor schemes with a nuanced flair to match your personality and the architectural style of the property. Michelle creates homes to enjoy that are classic, timeless with a realxed air of ease.


It is recommended that you engage professional interior design services early in your project so that Michelle can work alongside your architect and/or your builder for better outcomes. This avoids you facing costly late changes such as re-positioning of windows/doors or fixtures/radiators etc, which all impact the furniture layouts, and avoids compromises.
